Is this a printed book you mail me?
No, and I want you to know that before you spend a dime. Each book is a PDF, and the printable toolkit comes with it: files you open on your phone, your tablet or your computer the moment you pay. Nothing arrives in the mail. You can print any page at home or at the library, and the toolkit is made to be printed and taped to the fridge.
Is the type big enough to read?
Yes. It's set in large print with short paragraphs, and the cards and checklists are made to be read from across the kitchen.
I'm not good with computers.
You don't need to be. You press one button and the books open like a photo opens: no account, no password. If it doesn't open, write to me and I'll walk you through it myself, or give your money back.
Will this teach my dog to guard me?
No, and I'd talk you out of it. There's nothing in here about teaching a dog to bite or go after anybody. His job is to tell you. Your job is to decide and make the call. The books teach you both to do that well.
My dog's old, or small, or both.
Good. A loud twelve-pound dog does the job just fine, and old dogs can still learn. Book 3 has a whole chapter on the old dog, and the training in Book 1 can be done from a kitchen chair.
I don't have a dog yet.
Then buy this before you get one. Book 2 ends with the four questions to ask before you bring a dog home, and the honest case for not getting one.
Does this replace my vet or my lawyer?
No. I'll tell you what to watch for and what to ask them, and when it's their question and not mine.
Is this a subscription? Will you charge my card again?
No. You pay once. No subscription, no app, nothing to renew. When I update the books, you get the new edition free.
Can I buy just one book?
Yes. Each book is on its own. Start with Book 1, because it changes how you see him. If you want the walk and the plan too, all three are together, so the other two come out cheaper than buying them one at a time.
I'm buying this for my mother.
Good. That's how a lot of these end up on the fridge. Buy it, print the wallet card, and sit down with her and ask who'd take the dog.
What if it doesn't help me?
Email me within days and you get your money back. No questions, and you keep the books.
